NORWEGIAN GEM: Es tut mir echt leid / I am so sorry

Scroll down for English explanations - alternates with German explanations.

I wish I could introduce Dorothy on a picture to you.

There was such a wonderful picture from her and me... but when I transferred the picture from the chip to my computer the picture disappeared in nirvana.

How I look like you know anyway...

And here you find a picture of Dorothy:

There was something "good" that the pictures disappeared: so I do not need to be angry on myself that I forgot to take some pictures when I met Carolyn and Tejo - they would have disappeared as well. We know both of them from MSC FANTASIA:

https://heinbloed-msc.blogspot.com/2009/01/tagday-31-auf-deron-msc-fantasia-in.html

I was very happy that they tell me again that they keep our day on Lanzarote in very good memories - so do I:

https://heinbloed-msc.blogspot.com/2009/01/tagday-71-auf-deron-msc-fantasia-in.html

Tejo just returned from OASIS OF THE SEAS and reported. I mentioned that I was not interested at all and about my anger on RCI.

Carolyn just confirmed what I already discovered by myself: with my expectations I totally wrong with RCI. Only if the ship is your destination then you become happy but that's not in my focus.

I feel very lucky with the gang on cruisecritic.com.

When I opened the roll-call on June 2, 2009 I was for about 2 1/2 month the only one and I did not expected that anyone would join.

Now we are more than 60 from all parts of the world. The farest origin is Hawaii (!).

I am already very curious how the new gang will be.

As the Roll-Call of the final voyage of NORWEGIAN DREAM was unbeatable.

I can still post questions on the board if I still need advise for New England.

So I had on the way while I was in the US the best New England Clam-Chowder with
 Black Pearl in Newport, RI.

But I know him for about 15 years as I had there a good friend who lived there and passed away unfortunately.

Anyhow you find something to make a cruiser's stomach happy: A Lobster-Salad-Croissant which you only got with Todd English on QUEEN VICTORIA (Sorry, but text only in German available.)

... and a great Shrimp-Scallop-Skewer, which reminds me to great evening at Portofino on NAVIGATOR OF THE SEAS (Sorry, but text only in German available.)

Let's see how this gang will beat for themselves...

I am very happy that the weather should be quite good for Mid November.

The forecast of the temperature makes very optimistic.

But I am looking forward to our Pre-Cruise-Dinner in Barcelona: 10 out of the Roll-Call will meet the night before the cruise to have a great opening of the voyage.

And as I have the impression that I have no major problems with the H1N1-vaccination my last work day before vacation should not become too bad.
