Nach dem Essen bei Hurtigruten, wollte ich bloß Service, gutes Essen und kein Büffet. Der richtige Ort dafür ist Le Bistro. Wir gingen als walk-ins ohne Reservierungen dorthin mit unserer Einladung als Latitudes Platin-Mitglieder dahin und waren gespannt, ob wir sofort einen Tisch bekommen würden. Aber das war gar kein Problem. Wir bekamen sofort einen Tisch am Fenster.
After the food on Hurtigruten, I only wanted to have Service, good food and no buffet. The right place should be Le Bistro. We went there as walk-ins without reservation and our invitation which we get as Latitudes Platinum-member and were curious if we could get a table. But it was no problem at all. We got a table immediately at the window.
Zusätzlich zum normalen Brotkorb gab es dann noch geröstetes Baguette mit Thunfischcreme.
Additionally to the regular bread basket we got some roasted baguette with some tuna cream.
Na gut... jedes Mal hört sich das auf der Speisekarte besser an... eigentlich wollte ich sie nie wieder nehmen. Aber anscheinend ändern sie immer wieder die Rezepte.
Oh well... sounds much better on the menu... and I never wanted to retake this. But apparently, they changed the recipes from time to time.My escargots.

Bruno hat jetzt genug von Fisch und braucht auch mal ein anständiges Stück Fleisch. Und wenn es Lende gibt, dann ist er gerne dabei.

Ich hatte seit der letzten Fahrt auf der QUEEN ELIZABETH, meine Vorliebe für Lammkotelettes mit Minzjelly entdeckt.
Since my last voyage on QUEEN ELIZABETH I discovered my passion for lamb chops with mintjelly.
Just a request with the waiter for some explanations made the waiter bringing Bruno both that he can try all desserts he was interested in.
Und nur die Rückfrage beim Kellner, was dieses Dessert sein könnte, sorgte beim Kellner dafür, dass er es brachte, damit Bruno beides probieren konnte.
I took another cheese plate. But somehow I missed some carbs.
Ich nehme noch eine Käseplatte. Aber irgendwie fehlten ein paar Kohlenhydrate dazu.Zum Schluß gab es Kaffee aus der Bodum-Kanne.

Auf jeden Fall hatten wir einen tollen Abend dank Noel Geronimound Anthony Isip. Es war einfach schön, mal wieder freundliches, lächelndes und höfliches Personal wieder um sich zu haben und einfach als Gast wieder im Mittelpunkt des Geschehens zu stehen und tolles Essen zu genießen.
