Just before arrival we stopped at the restaurant Bamby (according to the menu board) or Bambi (according to the bill). Typical tourist place. But you need to say: it was one which was open.

We should try the local speciality Barraquito.

Hicks...

1.40 EUR.. worth to spend for some sweat cream, espresso and alcohol (Liqor 43... whatever it is...). For 1.40 EUR you cannot so much alcohol but it was enough to make me drunk... Hicks...

Unfortunately everything was sweet...

Leider nur süßes...

Bruno gönnt sich ein Stück Kuchen...

Bruno treat himself well with a piece of cake...

I shared a piece of pastry with my father...

And I used the occasion for purchases.

We arrived at Mount Teide. We did not stop at the aerial tram and nor did we go up. We just stayed down.

Was machen Frances und Eddie da oben?

What were Frances and Eddie doing there above? I was afraid that we might need to call later the mountain rescue service to get them to the bottom.

My mother was doing it too to climb up.

Anyhow the long way was worth to go to see that place. I liked it.

Thanks again to Rosi and Manolo.
